i just bought a new toshiba satellite laptop , and i feel that toshiba programs and shareware programs are just toooo many , i dont need all this , as the memory reads 40 % !!!!!!!!! too much i think , i want to uninstall all those programs but at the same time i don’t want to uninstall something critical , what should i do ?

Any "Trial Ware" should be instantly removed… So Microsoft Office Trial, gone… McCaffey/Norton Antivirus, gone…

If you are not sure if it is trial ware or not, just open your add/remove programs window and google each item. It takes a while, but it will save you from doing something you will regret.

Another option is to go to Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Start Up and just prevent most of it from starting up.
